The AI Operator Certification
The full AI stack for operators: strategy, systems architecture, implementation, and a capstone that proves you can build and run AI in a real business. Complete it and you're the person businesses hire. Get started — join Bodega Pass
Who this course is for
Operators who want to become the definitive AI person in their organization or build a service practice around AI implementation. This is the comprehensive course — it assumes you've built something (an automation, an agent, a prompt library), and it takes you through the full stack: how to assess a business for AI opportunity, design a system architecture, implement it, and manage it over time.
What you'll build
A complete AI implementation project for a real business (yours or a client's): an opportunity assessment, a system architecture recommendation, implemented automations and agents, and a documented operating runbook. Plus the certificate upon capstone completion.
Course structure
| Weeks | Module | What you'll produce |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | AI strategy — how to assess a business for AI opportunity, prioritize use cases by ROI and feasibility, and build a roadmap that ships | An AI opportunity assessment and 90-day roadmap for your business or a client |
| 3–4 | AI systems architecture — how to design a multi-automation stack: data flows, trigger design, error handling, and monitoring. What a production system looks like vs. a collection of demos. | A system architecture diagram and data-flow design for your implementation target |
| 5–6 | Full-stack implementation — build the automations and agents from your architecture. Connect them. Test end-to-end. Handle failure cases. | A running multi-workflow AI system processing real data |
| 7 | AI management and iteration — how to maintain, monitor, and improve an AI system. When to retrain, when to rebuild, how to communicate system changes to stakeholders. | An operations runbook for your implementation |
| 8 | Capstone — a full written and demonstrated implementation: assessment, architecture, live system, and runbook. Reviewed for the certificate. | The AI Operator Certificate |
The capstone project
The capstone is what makes this a certification. You complete a real AI implementation, document it in the capstone format, and have it reviewed. It becomes a portfolio piece you can show to employers, clients, or investors as proof of your AI implementation capability. The certificate is awarded on successful capstone completion.
What's included
- 8 weeks of video lessons and written guides — one module per phase of a complete AI implementation
- Assessment and prioritization frameworks — structured tools for evaluating AI opportunity and estimating ROI
- Architecture templates — system design templates for the most common multi-automation configurations
- All previous course materials — prompt patterns, agent blueprints, and workflow files from prerequisite courses
- Capstone review — structured feedback on your implementation before certification
- Certificate — issued on capstone completion; documents what you built
- Community cohort — work through the capstone alongside others at the same stage
Prerequisites
This course assumes you have completed (or have equivalent experience to) AI for Non-Technical Operators, Build Your Own Agent, and Automation Mastery. The self-assessment in Week 1 helps you determine where you're starting from.
Time commitment
8 weeks at 3–4 hours per week. Self-paced, but the capstone review process takes 1–2 weeks after submission. Plan for 10–12 weeks total.
Common questions
- Who reviews the capstone?
- Capstone submissions are reviewed by the BotBodega team against a documented rubric covering the quality of the opportunity assessment, the appropriateness of the architecture design, the functionality of the live system, and the completeness of the runbook. Feedback is specific and actionable.
- What does the certificate say?
- The certificate names the recipient, states the certification ("AI Operator Certification — BotBodega Academy"), and includes a brief summary of what the capstone project demonstrated. It is a documentation of what you built, not a test score.
- Can I complete this if I work at a company rather than run my own business?
- Yes. The capstone can be built for your employer (with appropriate permissions) or for a client engagement. Many students build the capstone as a proposal for their employer — designing an AI system the company could implement. The implementation component can be a live pilot in a non-production environment.
- Is there a refund policy for this course?
- If you complete less than 20% of the course and decide it is not the right fit, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will make it right. We want you in the right course.
